Austin has been selected to be commissioned into the United States Navy! This means we are officially moving to Glendale, Arizona mid-July for him to attend medical school at Midwestern University. After medical school, residency, etc., he will be a doctor in the Navy. I'm so proud of him and his desire to "serve those who serve," as he always puts it. We are happy, excited, and feeling really good about this decision. Today was all things Austin so naturally, In-N-Out and the dollar theater happened.

ReplyDeleteI feel like great things are in store for you and Lisa. To quote Harley "Austin is such a good man, the Lord has great work for him to do." or he said something along those lines. Together as a team I think you and Lisa will be a force for great good as you "serve those who serve." I am sad that we live in the desert with no chance of a naval base ever being built but proud and excited for both of you non the less.

Ah congratulations! I've always wanted to live in Arizona for a while...you'll get warm winters and sunshine all year, you lucky girl! Good job Austin, and good luck on the medical school journey! I can't wait for more updates :)

Sad for us and Maryland... but YAY for Arizona, Tom & Carrie, the Navy, Midwestern and mostly you and Austin. Love you guys! Very, very proud!
