It's Official!

Austin has been selected to be commissioned into the United States Navy! This means we are officially moving to Glendale, Arizona mid-July for him to attend medical school at Midwestern University. After medical school, residency, etc., he will be a doctor in the Navy. I'm so proud of him and his desire to "serve those who serve," as he always puts it. We are happy, excited, and feeling really good about this decision. Today was all things Austin so naturally, In-N-Out and the dollar theater happened.

xoxo

It's one in the morning. I can't sleep. Happy loving :)

I wish I saved the link of where these pictures are from and who photographed them. I often surf the net, see an image(s) I like, save it, sometimes collage it, make it my desktop for a week, repeat.

Whoever these calm, simplistic photos belong to- thank you, and happy valentine's day.

For me and my valentine less means more. The card (rather, post-it note) he gave me read,

"love you dude
-austin"

and I absolutely adored it

Brindy Jean

Two of my good friends I met in Jerusalem, Brindy and Melia, recently got engaged. I am so happy for them! {Except sooo not happy I'll be missing both weddings thanks to traveling weekends for work} But ever since the good news I can't stop thinking about Jerusalem and looking through old pictures. These are some photos Brindy took, aren't they beautiful!? I just can't help but share them.

Okinawa, "Japan's Hawaii"

Merry Christmas! Austin posted several photos on Facebook, but here are some of my favorites. The LaBanc's are wonderful people and I was happy to spend time with them in such neat places.
